Funding
The Cymru Football Foundation’s Fit-For-Future Facilities Programme will be re-opening today (25/10/2023). It provides large capital grants to support facility developments that will benefit clubs and communities across the country.
The programme provides grants for a range of different projects such as:
New or upgraded grass pitches
Artificial grass pitches
New or upgrades to existing changing rooms or clubhouses

FAW PAWB FUND
The PAWB fund is now open for applications. Please see the application link below where you can apply for the fund.

The PAWB fund opens again on 23rd October 2023 and will close on 10th November 2023. Please note you will not be able to apply at present. Mark Bull will send an email out during the morning of the 23rd October reminding clubs and leagues in Central Wales that the fund is open for applications.
In addition, applications must be submitted by a club or representing organisation on behalf of the player/individual, and they are able to accept applications submitted by parents/guardians.
The fund supports children and families in most need. The fund will support recipients on an annual basis to ensure they can access regular football opportunities. The following items are eligible for support through the fund:
- Grassroots Club Membership Fees
- Playing/Club Kit
- Football Boots
- Shin Pads
- Goalkeeper Gloves
- Sport Hijab
- Impairment Specific Equipment e.g. Sports Goggles
- Travel Costs e.g. Train, Bus or Taxi Costs to Training and Match Venues
Last year there was only 1 application from Central Wales!

CYMRU FOOTBALL FOUNDATION
The Cymru Football Foundation (CFF) is a new charity supporting the development of football facilities through investment, assistance and guidance.
The CFF delivers the Football Association of Wales’ (FAW) commitment to develop inspirational fit-for-future football facilities that will improve and grow Welsh football on and off the pitch.
Through the CFF clubs can access the Fit for Future Equipment Fund and the Fit For Future facilities programme.
